Sam’s POV
“Sam, wake up. We need to get going.” My dad said, shaking my shoulder.
“What time is it?”
“Early, but we need to leave. We can’t stay in one place very long.”
I nodded at him and stretched out and got out of bed and went to the bathroom to get dressed. When I came out, he had his bag packed up and on his shoulder.
“Come on, I’ll get you some coffee and breakfast.”
I followed out to his car and got in the passenger seat while he got in the driver’s seat and started the car and pulled away. He drove through town and stopped at a gas station on the edge of town.
