Hearing those words from Brian's lips had Serah staggering back. Her cup of coffee came crashing to the ground as she stared into space. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts as she tried to understand what Brian was really driving at.
"Come, let's go sit down", Brian said.
He led her to the living room as they both took a seat. Brian held her close to his chest because he knew she really needed it coupled with the fact that she was shaking and in dire need of comfort.
