Rose’s POV:All through the night I had a strange feeling of I felt like I was being watched, when my father and Emily showed themselves the feeling didn’t completely go away. I felt my face drain of all the blood as soon as I saw my father and sister. I was still very hurt and angry with them, and I surely was in the mood to forgive them, especially after my father demanded my inheritance.
I was shocked when Thorn said that we were getting married, and I couldn’t help a feeling of elation either, maybe he did feel something for me other than lust, but I didn’t want to settle for anything other than love.
