Thorn’s POV:
We had been back at the estate for 3 days. I was happier than I’ve been in years. Finn was also content, we had tripled the guards around the estate, neither Henry or myself wanted to take any chances with the pack and Rose’s safety.
I saw the letter lying on my desk as I walked into my office. They hand-writing on the envelope was Emma’s. I opened the letter and started to read. The letter was dated the week before.
Dearest Thorn,
I hope this letter finds you safe and well. We had just received some disturbing news. Rose’s sister has been murdered. She was found in an alley, near the Cavendish Hotel. According to the Tons rumors she was Sir Johnathon Blakes mistress and that he was the last person to see her. Duncan and I are very concerned over the news
