Lourdes I couldn't help but notice the hushed whispers among some of the other doctors as they stole glances at Darren and me. It was clear that Doctor Mark had shared his rather unfortunate misconception of what had transpired in our cabin. A sly grin played on my lips as I realized that their assumption might just play into my future plans. The rumors that had started to circulate around us could serve a purpose in the future, especially when it came to convincing others of a fabricated pregnancy.
