It was almost the end of the year and Imani okafor was thrilled to be signing the contract of her dreams. The contract between okafor technologies and the sterling empire has always been her dream.

The dream to someday be one of the most successful women on earth was finally coming true and she felt like she was on the top of the world.Well not for too long because mrs okafor destroyed the moment with her age old boring topic, that is as long as Imani is conerned.

Mrs okafor, on the dinner table sort for other ways to bring up the forbidden topic.However, there weren't therefore she proceeded with her age old strategy which ruined everything.

This was how the whole thing began, the moment when feeling got hurt.

I am really glad that the contract has come to an end, mum. Imani said excitedly

I am glad too, Imani, and now you can finally start planning to have a family of your own. Mrs okafor replied

Mum, can we just have a peaceful dinner .

The moment it registered in her head that she had slapped her, she tried to put her emotions together in order not to futher worsen things.However it was already too late because now Imani looked too calm to be herself.
