I stepped far away from Nate trying to phantom what just happened, how I got myself in that situation and how to get out of it.
I tried to keep a steady composure. All the while Nate's eyes were on me but I care less.
I just wanted to leave there at that moment. We said nothing to each other. The knock came again, even louder this time, then Nate eventually answered.
He went to the door then he blocked the other person from coming in or seeing inside. I smiled at the consideration as he thought of me when he did this.
