Thelma took a while in the bathroom, you might think she was washing away all of her sins for taking so much time in the bathroom.
By the time she eventually got out, I had already given up on waiting for her.
I went into Nate's study to get a book to read.
It was when I returned to the room from the study I met Thelma in the room, finally out of the bathroom.
What were you doing in the bathroom for that long? I asked her
Were you trying to wash away all of your sins in one day? I teased her again.
She just gave a little laugh before turning to me.
I usually take time in the bathroom and I'm sure you know this already, so what's the fuss about, she said as she rolled her eyes at me.
