A Treasure taken advantage by Rad

The third level of the Trials is about the heart because it contains illusions, and once I stepped on this line, the room will read my head and will create illusions based on that, I wonder what they can read in my head and what illusions they can produce, is it something horrifying?

Suzy thought after reading the chapter about the third level, where Suzy is.

Suzy is currently in the third level’s room after she finished the first and second level; she’s currently assessing a solution for the level’s trials.

I’m essentially in the middle of the dungeon, my guess is that there’s no way this dungeon has more than 5 trials and rooms since the book isn’t thick enough to compile them, and I’m in the middle pages of the book too, so that’s additional.

Suzy said to herself, assessing the third level.

She then took a breath and then stepped forward in the room, though she’s expecting that the room will only show her horrifying things about the people she knows and loves through illusions, she didn’t expect that the illusions that the third level will show are something different than that.

The third level scans the defendant’s mind and heart, and it will show an illusion in the room about the defendant’s worse fears, in a different level, something she didn’t think could happen, but it will show her anyways, whether it happened or not.

And the illusion she sees are the Theist Country and the Seven Village’s destruction, burnt and massacred, all the residents and the villagers dead on the floor, even the Elders, the authorities of the Theist Country, and even Faro.

This is horrifying, but I know this isn’t real, but the feeling is, I think this is what I will feel when I saw this happen, but ten times more painful.

Suzy thought, her chest getting compressed as she sees this illusion.

She then took out her swords and then attacked the sides of the room, the cause of the illusion, but when she did, the illusions then changed, she was moved to another location, Suzy saw the culprit of this destruction and chaos.

It was Nen Tereus, her Twin Brother.

Nen? Why is he here?

Suzy thought, asking herself.

At last, her beloved land is mine, and the ones in it, and her loved ones, dead, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fake Nen said.

This is definitely the Leader’s English, here I thought I’ve heard her English words this bad, but I guess they’re just using her English with whatever this room is reading in my mind.

Suzy said to herself after hearing the fake Nen’s words.

She then took another of her sword and attacked the fake Nen, while she calls the sword she sent to the room’s walls and continued to attack them to break the illusion, but little did she know that the illusion will get worse.

The fake Nen then fought back and a warrior blocked Suzy’s attack at fake Nen.

Well, well, if it isn’t Suzy, how interesting of you to return after abandoning the people you’ve promised to protect, I guess it’s time for me to kill you, you’re nothing to me now, Azeed.

Fake Nen told Suzy after having his controlled soldiers protect him.

He then called Azeed, as if he was controlled by Nen.

Azeed!?

Suzy thought as she was surprised to see him.

She has only seen and faced him once, but he knows that he is a different level of being alone because he can contend against Exos and the UNE group, and if Nen is able to control him, it will not just be the end of Zao Thesis, but also the entire world.

She then backed away, ready to defend against a fake Azeed, even though she knows deep down that it is a fake Azeed, she’s still trying to get away because of her fear of him.

Suzy’s fear is not Azeed, it is his capabilities when he turns evil, but she knew that he couldn’t do so, which means that her fear is still subconscious, hence why when she sees him like this, she was subconsciously backing away and defending against him.

This is just an illusion!

Suzy shouted after a few minutes of defending against fake Azeed.

She then lets the fake Azeed attack her, but Azeed hits her with his shield, that’s when Suzy’s hidden fears rose because she thought it’s just an illusion.

What!? He hit me!

Suzy thought shocked about it.

She then slowly fought the fake Azeed, exchanging blows with him, but then Suzy remembered that the book says that all things shown in the third level are all illusions, with the quoted sentence saying, “Do not be deceived.”

Suzy then dodged the fake Azeed’s attack and tried to run through the fake Azeed’s body, and sure enough, she passed through him, only his sword is real.

She then immediately called her swords that she sent to destroy the walls of the room to destroy the illusion and then sent them all there again to further destroy the illusion and finish the third level.

Enough of this crap!

Suzy shouted, she then brute-forced her swords into the room.

And after several tries and many of the illusions that have physical forms trying to stop her, though Suzy still defended herself against them whether they were real or not, the illusion then broke after that.

The one that is causing the illusion then showed itself to Suzy after the illusion, and it is a Light bending monster.

It is basically the one that is controlling the illusion for the room; the third level’s room is controlling the monster, now that the room is destroyed by Suzy.

So this is just a monster’s doing, that’s good to know, the weapons and the shields of the fake Nen’s controlled warriors are just this thing’s tentacles.

Suzy thought as she return her weapons into her storage ring.

She then properly fought the monsters after the illusion broke, taking her a few minutes, but she killed the monster.

That thing isn’t as tough as I thought, I even braced myself, I guess its magical capabilities are limited unless the dungeon helps him, well, let’s just move on to the next room, I don’t have all day, I might take a day here seeing as how long I took breaking this room out of its illusions.

Suzy said to herself as she heads to the door of the fourth level.

The Rad Tribe is the Angus Tribe’s neighboring tribe, consisting of many warriors that use Warring hammers, focused on mining and combat, they were made for mining only, but when wars slowly broke out in Zao Thesis and greatly changed the Continent’s ways, they needed to drastically change the Warring hammer’s uses, and they decided that it will only be held by Hammer Masters because the Warring hammers are forged to the fullest quality so that using it conjunctionally with mining, forging, and fighting will not have any issue.

And Hammer Masters are trained in the Rad Tribe; they are both Hammer warriors and Hammer forgers so that they can also help with forging other weapons with the Warring Hammers they were bestowed upon by the Rad Tribe.

The Rad Leader is a son of a former leader who is not on good terms with the Angus Leader’s former leader, they’re still not on good terms even now, resentment passed down by their predecessor, though they aren’t yet on war against each other, if one of them does something against the opposite Tribe, then war against each other will be inevitable.

What is going on in the Dungeon at the moment?

The Rad Leader asked the Miners and Hammer Masters that are surveying the Dungeon of the Angus Tribe.

The lady inside is still in the fourth level of the Dungeon; I’m guessing by the sunrise, she will complete the Dungeon, should we bring in our other Hammer Masters here?

Send in the Miners only, we don’t need the Hammer Masters for now.

The Rad Leader answered the question of the Miner’s Head.

I think it’s best if I watch the defendant inside the Dungeon, which will help me assess the visitor that she sent inside a dungeon of this caliber.

The Rad Leader thought.

They then brought in all the Miners around the Mine that is near the Trials Dungeon of the Angus Tribe.

Open the monitor through the Dungeon, I want to see who this defendant that is worthy enough to get the Angus Leader’s approval to have her enter and finish a dungeon like this.

The Rad Leader told the Miners.

The Miners then created a projection that shows the inside of the Dungeon and what Suzy is doing inside.

So it’s a girl, I have low expectations because it seems like she’s writing down notes about the Dungeon, there’s no way she can finish this, and if she does, we will be there to take it from her unworthy hands.

The Rad Leader thought after seeing who is inside the Dungeon.

Suzy is then dealing with the fourth level of the Trials Dungeon, the second to last level, and the fourth level’s room is shifting, and when Suzy is running towards the last door to the final level, the room is moving her away as she runs towards it.

This room is very evil, even if I try to climb to the side to get there, it’s still not working.

Suzy thought after resting from all the moving.

I’m sure there is a way for me to get there, let me see if there is any gravity involved here.

Suzy told herself as she took her sword and threw it at the door.

Thought her sword reached the door and returned to her normally, the sword became uncontrollable and just dropped down on the ground after touching the ground, Suzy couldn’t control the sword with her powers.

Strange, gravity isn’t a problem, but I can’t control that sword anymore, shame, I lost 3 weapons in this Dungeon already.

Suzy thought after throwing her sword to the door.

She then tried hopping forward to get some progress, but she was still moved back to the start.

Let’s try and find if there is another monster controlling this room, the book said that this room shifts mechanically and the only thing that it gets controlled is a core, but it doesn’t say who has the core, is it a machine or is it a monster’s core, let’s try destroying this room again.

Suzy thought.

She then took out 7 of her weapons and sends them through the ground, piercing the ground so that it won’t move.

Suzy then jumped and stepped over her weapons that are pierced through the ground, the room tried to force shift itself, but it didn’t even budge because of Suzy’s hammer that she was able to stick through the ground, which is a strong hammer.

And when she reached the door at the end, she immediately called her weapons and put them inside her storage ring, and then she grabbed hold onto the door’s handle so that when the gravity changed, she won’t fall down to the start again.

But it didn’t, Suzy stayed on the door, but something happened in the background.

That’s successful.

Suzy told herself after she’s done.

I can’t control this sword now; I guess I’ll just hold onto it until I can control it again.

She thought as she takes her sword that was on the ground, she couldn’t put it inside her storage ring as well.

Suzy then entered the last level, she usually reads the book about the Dungeon in the level’s room since she knows there is a safe area, but she didn’t expect the last level to have no safe area, she was greeted by the guard of the final level, the room where the Reinforcing Orb is contained.

And this was caught by the Rad Leader who is just on the other side of the walls of the last level, the reason why the guard of the final level is alert and awake, instead of just being sentient and waiting for the defendant’s moves on the Reinforcing Orb is that the Rad Tribe is on the other side of the walls of the last level.

I couldn’t read the book so I will have to fight him blindly! Though it is a Golem so I should be good.

Suzy thought.

But when she tries to call her weapons inside her storage ring, nothing comes out.

What!?

Suzy shouted, asking herself.

At that time, she was hit by the guard.

*boom*

Suzy’s powers were disabled, just like how the sword she threw to the door in the fourth level became unresponsive and uncontrollable, the door and the room of the last level disabled her powers.

I guess I just have to go old school, I’m lucky that I have this sword with me.

Suzy thought as she went back on her feet after getting hit.

And so, Suzy fought a Golem Guard with nothing but her Sword and her Sword skills, but this was also taken advantage of by the Rad Tribe, they will be entering the last level’s room stealthily and will steal the Reinforcing Orb without Suzy noticing.
