Guilt for being the worst Twin Sister

After Suzy and Faro arrived at the Angus Tribe, together with the Rad Leader and a few of his Officers from the Rad Tribe, they talked to the Angus Leader about what happened, and because the thing they’re fighting for was stolen by Suzy’s twin brother, there’s no point for them to fight anymore, the Rad Leader is there still expecting for Suzy to help their village, even though Suzy will only help them if she were to acquire the Reinforcing Orb for herself.

This would never have happened if you didn’t steal that Orb! That Orb was specially requested by Suzy Tereus!

The Angus Leader shouted, mad at the Rad Leader.

That Orb could’ve helped our Tribe, you have been prospering your Tribe far more than ours, we’ve requested help countless times for you to help us and you’ve only given us change, your tribe was confining the Orb, not for Suzy Tereus, but for this Nen Tereus, he made you kept it underground to cultivate the Orb, he stole the Orb because he owns it.

The Rad Leader explained to her how it was stolen and why.

Nen Tereus? Is that Suzy’s brother? I didn’t know.

The Angus Leader thought, she asked herself as she was confused.

My twin brother can control the minds of others, he must’ve controlled your minds for you to help him evolve the Orb, I don’t know why he chose to get the Orb now, I’m assuming it’s because of the same situation as I do, he is the same age as I am, and he is a Guerre like me since he can control minds.

Suzy explained to the Angus Leader as well.

I didn’t know you have a twin brother, let alone he can control minds, I don’t even remember even meeting him to do what he intended for the Reinforcing Orb, what I remember is that it was a treasure in our Tribe that was passed down by one of our ancestors before he died, I just kept it there since I was informed there is someone worthy of possessing it.

The Angus Leader explained her part.

That’s because that’s the level of Mind Controlling that Nen can do, he can erase memories and create new ones as well, now that he has the Orb, I don’t know how powerful he can reach with that Mind Control, he might be able to control not just half the Tribes that are in the Continent but also all of it.

Suzy told them.

The Rad Leader thought, asking himself.

What do you mean Half the Tribe? Are you talking about the Evil Tribes Event?

The Rad Leader asked Suzy.

The Rad Leader said.

Nen and I were practically inseparable, when we were born, all the way to 13 years old, we would train ourselves after learning about our powers, compete with each other for fun, he was just influenced heavily by the Evil aura of our mentor, that one time, he is able to control my mind with our mentor’s help and destroyed dozens of the neighboring villages, I was lucky that the Zion Village’s Elders were able to retrieve us back from our evil mentor, but after that, it was too late for Nen, he was influenced so much by our evil mentor that he has to be moved to the neighboring continent of Zao Thesis, the Nor Thesis, back then the two continents were in good terms, until Nen was sent there, the one who was supposed to keep him safe and away from doing any evil was controlled by Nen after he had evolved his Mind Control, the Reinforcing Orb must’ve been from the Nor Thesis Continent, but he made you think that it’s from an ancestor here, and now, that Orb is gone, and I’m left with nothing, while my twin brother continues to do evil.

Suzy explained, telling her and Nen Tereus’s story.

You are lucky because you aren’t influenced by your evil mentor, or what if he told your brother to mind control you permanently that have lasted now, he’s just making you do what he wants you to do?

The Rad Leader asked her.

I thought your twin brother was the one that helped you in the Gallant Battle.

Faro asked.

I know I’m not controlled by him because I know it will kill him to keep controlling me for this many years, he knows my limitations, and I know his, that’s an uncanny connection we always have because we’re twin Guerres, and I don’t know why he helped me in the Gallant Battle.

Suzy answered their questions.

This is such a sad story, twins are supposed to be the closest duo siblings, how can a mentor be so cruel?

The Rad Leader’s sister asked as she despises the Tereus twins’ mentor.

What now? The Orb was stolen by your twin brother; your life is still in a year countdown.

The Rad Leader said.

Suzy said, reprimanding the Rad Leader and his tribe.

You basically started this the moment you decided to steal a sealed Orb that wasn’t meant to be touched by anyone until its returner retrieved it, at least those who are worthy of it.

Faro said.

Okay, that’s enough; I can ask other neighboring Tribes if they can lend you their Reinforcing item, you will have to convince them, Suzy, because you will be the one benefiting from it.

The Angus Leader told them to stop as she figures out another way for Suzy to get a Reinforcing item.

How about our Tribe? We will die, sooner or later.

The Rad Leader asked them.

Please, we want our Tribe to live longer.

His sister asked them for help as well.

They have caused us nothing but trouble, as much as I want them to rot and disappear, that would go against what I believe in, what should I even do here?

Suzy thought, asking herself how they will be of help to them.

Then you can just ask all of your connections, ask them if they have Reinforcing items for Guerres, that’s the least you can do for Suzy, tell us where it is and we can just head there ourselves, or is that even out of your capabilities considering you are most famous in Hammers and forges?

The Angus Leader told them, asking them as well.

The Rad Leader said, but he sounded hesitant because he was waiting for Suzy’s response.

He’s not going to agree unless I helped their Tribe, I want to help them, but at the same time, they’ve us so many troubles now that I just want to let their Tribe be, but at the same time, that will be their end once I did that.

Suzy thought, deciding on what she should do.

The Angus Leader looked at Suzy if she will help them.

One of the many reasons why she is hesitant in helping them and leaving them be to die is because her subconscious thoughts are making her doubt whether she wants to keep continuing this as the Continent’s official Heroine after she helped them, or just keep everything to herself and not stick out so much and not garner any attention.

She’s struggling not because she hates helping them or hates ditching them to their end; it is because her subconscious wants to do this without gathering too much attention for herself. After all, if she helps them out of their demise, she knows there will be many that will call for her help after they heard about it.

And Suzy isn’t scared of the idea of helping many more; she just doesn’t know how she will do that because she is only one and she can’t be everyone’s Heroine, that’s what’s bothering her.

Suzy, just do it, I got you.

Faro told her.

Suzy then finally agrees.

But I can’t guarantee that the Theist Country will agree to help you, I will ask the Seven Ancient Villages, but that’s as far as I can help you, even I’m not possessing a lot of money in me despite being a known figure there.

Suzy told them afterward.

And so, they all went to the neighboring Tribes, with the Angus Leader’s help, she’s able to appoint a meeting with the Tribes they’re associated with, Suzy told them about how them giving her their Reinforcing Orb will help not just the protection of the Continent but also the future of it because she assessed a high chance that Nen Tereus will do the same thing as the Evil Tribes Event after he became an Awakened Guerre.

The Rad Leader has called all of his connections, whether they are Tribe or Village, they asked every one of them if they have a Reinforcing Orb.

But even after many Tribes and Villages they go through, a few days have passed, none of them have any Reinforcing Orb.

Nothing?

The Angus Leader asked the Rad Leader.

None of them possesses one, it was something I’m questioning as well, surely there is one of them that has one; I wonder what happened? Even we possess a few since the only ones we have when we sold them barely helped our situation since they were worth so little, so I did what was only reasonable at that time, I used one on myself and my sister, that way, we can utilize the item’s full use instead of just selling it away.

The Rad Leader answered, explaining to them about their past Reinforcing item.

We’re lucky we’re alive, if not; it would’ve doubled our problems.

The Rad Leader’s sister said.

Where did you sell the very few that you have then?

Suzy asked them.

To a Midnight Trader, I don’t have a backlog of her, but I know she always appears in the market in our Tribe at midnight, but when we checked there last night, she’s not appearing there anymore.

The Rad Leader said.

We’ve been looking around the Tribe at the same time, but she was nowhere to be seen.

The Rad Leader’s sister said.

This is going nowhere, Suzy, Faro, you two get some rest, you still have your house in the South, Suzy, so you and Faro should get some rest first, we’ve been doing nothing but work this out, we also need some rest, I’ll talk to the Rad Leader about this, I’ll inform you when we found something, you’re still young, and you have your Guerre’s situation so you need all the rest you need.
