Fifteen minutes later, Katrina stood at the stable fidgeting with her bags packed waiting for the Earl. She couldn’t actually understand what was going on. One minute he was denying her in front of his parents , the next thing he asked her to pack that they were leaving. Was he returning her back to Davenshire? Angry tears slipped down her eyes.. He has finished using her and now he wants to toss her to the wolves. What if she runs away?
