I did not want to say anything but, the day I got shot and I was put under an induced coma to save my life, I had the most amazing dream. I dreamt that I had a guardian angel looking over me this entire time. In the dream, the angel whispered that great things were ahead.
When I woke up out of the coma, I thought about the events that occurred, I felt like I have had a guardian angel this entire time. I am lucky to be alive.
I remember being so depressed and lost because all the things I knew to be my life turned out to be a life. Not just that, but I was forced to leave my sister to fend for herself because in the moment it felt like the right thing to do. Thinking back to that decision, I regretted it the most because my sister was all alone and may have experienced so
