Suicidal Thoughts

267 Words
I hear the whispers in my mind, Telling me to leave it all behind. The weight of life, it drags me down, As I struggle just to keep my ground. The world seems cruel and full of pain, And I can't seem to break this chain. These thoughts they haunt me day and night, As I try to find a way to fight. But hope is scarce, and darkness reigns, And I can't seem to shake these chains. The thought of ending all this pain, It feels like the only way. I know it's not the answer, though, And there's still so much I don't know. But in these moments of despair, It's hard to see that life is fair. So I'll hold on to the glimmer of light, And try to make it through the night. For even in my darkest hour, There's still a chance to find the power. The power to rise above the pain, And find a way to live again. For though these thoughts may come and go, I know that I am not alone. Darkness clouds my mind I'm lost in a maze, can't find A way out of this endless pain I feel like I'm going insane Thoughts of suicide fill my head I wish I could escape this dread But every day it seems to grow And I'm not sure I can take it anymore The weight of the world is on my shoulders And I'm not sure I can hold it any longer I'm suffocating, can't catch my breath I'm drowning in a sea of my own death
