The circus’s new location in Mestsky Park presented security problems. Big ones. The park spanned fifty acres in the middle of the city. Open on all four sides, it provided easy access to streets and nearby neighborhoods.
No way to lock it down.
Even if Rurik’s deputies, Misha and Yuri, helped to patrol the circus and grounds, the killer could find a place to slip out.
