Astrid Sebastian quickly sprinted to his feet as he sensed the being at the balcony. Deep growls escaped his chest. He was ready to shift anytime. “Show yourself,” he ordered, his Alpha dominance marking the room. But was it enough to affect a vampire? The being at the balcony cast its shadows farther into the room as it tried terrifying us. But Sebastian wasn’t moved. I, on the other hand, was terrified. The shadows brought a kind of cold and terrifying feeling. It smelled and felt like death. I shivered, as I coiled behind Sebastian. Sebastian's temper grew thin. He shifted to Fenrir as he proceeded in ripping the curtains, ready to face whoever was behind them. But after ripping them, the vampire was gone and the shadows with it. Fenrir growled louder, his temper clearly written
