Maya’s Pov

The document Mr David is talking about should be the one that holds the conference. “ My goodness, where else would it be?! The night before I went home I had tucked it in his drawer. If he can’t find it, then it only means one thing. Someone moved it. But who? And why?

How long until you moan him and wallow in self-quilt?” My mum paused, then continued. “It’s your 23rd birthday today, you’ve grown into a hardworking, beautiful young lady my dear. I had successfully talked my mum into extending the celebration until after work. I got ready to go and face my boss at the office.

On the right were crystal pillars that held the building. The atmosphere looked ambience. Voices of staff were held jingling and some gossiping almost so loudly.

At the far left I spotted the entrance to Mr David’s door, I knew immediately he was around and in the office

What exactly was I gon say to him? I literally didn’t have any excuse. All I remembered was that I had left the files on his desk before I left the night before.

I was genuinely worried. I was so lost in my thoughts that I hadn’t realized walking up my way.

“Oops! You slut pls watch it!” Came the outburst from a near stranger
