I could feel the excitement buzzing through my veins as the day of the race finally arrived. Sweetie Grace had practically dragged me out of bed at dawn, her enthusiasm infectious as we made our way to the racetrack.
The facility was nestled in the outskirts, the largest indoor racing complex in the country. As we stepped inside, I took in the massive central area with its strategically placed obstacles and barriers. The spectator stands wrapped around the track, currently filling with eager racing enthusiasts.
Someone was already showing off on the track, their car roaring as it maneuvered through the course, leaving a cloud of exhaust that partially obscured my view. My wolf, Nora, stirred inside me, responding to the thrill of competition that hung in the air
