"Miss Lilac, the duke and duchess have forgiven you because you are their daughter. "A maid in light colored clothes spoke , quietly sizing up Lilac.

" Forgiven me" it sounded ridiculous when Lilac heard it,"forgiven me of what, tell me the crime I committed because I really want to know, was my crime being born into this world by two selfish people, who only care about fame and power and useless reputation"

" Miss Lilac, we are authorized to use Force if you are not willing to come," the maid said, her expression quickly turning sour .

" You can try," Lilac said with a smile that wasn't really a smile as she walked into the house, which was later built by her teacher for her.

it was a big mansion which surprised the maid as she was told that the second miss was living in an old crooked thatched house.

But what she met with was a big mansion which stretched as far as the eyes could see.

"Let's go," Lilac said to the dumbfounded maid who was using her eyes to explore the place.

" Please step into the carriage," the maid said, gesturing towards the simple carriage parked at the side of the road.

hmph, this is what you sent to pick up your beloved daughter.

Lilac scanned the shabby carriage disgust evident in her eyes.

" The duchess personally organised and prepared.for your homecoming lady Lilac.

" Oh so simply put , my father's other wife, who is my stepmother, sent a carriage not even fit for a goat to pick up her beloved step daughter whom she cherishes and holds dear ."

" Lady Lilac, what do you mean , are you not willing to come back home?" the maid panicked, looking up suddenly.

She was ordered by the duchess to bring Lilac back home no matter what, even if that meant using force ,but she would be in big trouble if lad Lilac refused to return with them or worse ran away .

" Are you nervous?" Lilac whispered, looking the maid dead in the eye , " Don't worry, I'll have to return home someday, so why not now? " And with that, Lilac turned and handsomely got into the carriage . " Let's go," she said from inside. The carriage slowly started rolling away from the magnificent mansion.

' Dear duchess ,I can't wait to see what you have planned for me,' Lilac thought .
