Later that evening The Dukes palace started slowly filling up with guests from far and wide. All hoping to catch a glimpse of the Dukes long lost daughter. Some attending to make Jest of the Duke, some attending out of curiosity and some attending just for the thrill of a party. Lilac, however, was, who was the centre of attention, was having a crisis. The dress, specially prepared by the Duke, specifically for Her debut ball, was missing, and there was no doubt in her mind that it was one of the Duchessse's daughters that was behind it all. The whole room was in a frenzy.Maids panicking and frantically lifting up everything in search of the gown. Lilac sighed, sitting tiredly on the massive queen-sized bed when Mary a doe eyed maid knelt at her feet . " My lady, if the dress isn't found soon, it's going to be a disaster," Mary said " Really," Lilac purred lazily, waving her hand and sending everyone away . " My Lord. I think you are being sabotaged. " The innocent expression on Mary's face immediately fell as soon as everyone left. " Dorian," Lilac lazily called, "My Lord," Dorian appeared, kneeling solemnly in front of Lilac . Out-of all Lilacs subordinates, she had 6 that she handpicked herself. Whom she called Death's Shadow'. Of these six were ...... DORIAN....her loyal Knight, MARY..... her deadliest assssin , VALKO.... her informant, CASSIAN.... her infiltrator, NYX....her divine alchemist, And ALARIC.... The tank. To her, Dorian was a priceless asset, and she was fed up with having to suppress her death's shadow like this. It was not her style. "You will be my plus one ,making sure to be first in asking for my first dance." Lilac smirked, popping a grape into her mouth. " Yes, my Lord," Dorian replied "My Lord. What do you have in mind?" Mary smiled cheekily, holding Lilacs hand . "Well, it's time, isn't it? I have to have the long-awaited conversation with my beloved father."
