C117-We Like As A Couple

Allyson's POV

Tiffany whispered to me;

"Close your eyes. Whatever happen don't move and do not open your eyes until I said so." I follow her immediately but before I close my eyes the she-vamp jumps high on the tree where we stay.

"Hey, Lily! What did you see? Anything?" I heard another woman shouts.

"None." She replied.

"Ok, come on. Let us continue." A man's voice said. I peep. The she-vamp is on the ground together with her group.

" Okay," the group walked fast away from us.

"Oh, my God! We almost caught up! Huh!" I took a deep breath. I felt beads of sweat on my head.

"If you are not careless it won't happen," Tiffany blame me.

"Oh, sorry. It was an accident. I didn't mean it." I said apologetically.

"That is why you should be careful next time. Let's go!" Tiffany reply.

We follow them, now we are in the boundary of the town and east forest.

"Seems they will attack the town again?" I unconsciously ask Tiffany.

"Maybe. Let's go." Tiffany reply, holding my hand and we teleported.

"You know, your power is cool! I hope I can have power like this?" I said with envy and a smile to her. She just stared at me.

We are now in the town proper. The group entered the wine store.

"Let's follow them to the store." Tiffany command.

"Okay, come on." I held her hand and we enter the store. The vampires look at us.

We look for the wine to buy and the owner approaches us.

"Good morning, we have the best wine here. What brand you are looking for?" As the owner asks.

"Oh, hi. We are looking for Chateau Ausone. Do you have that?" Tiffany reply. Oh, it's Chateau Ausone, hmm. As I said to myself.

"Oh! Yes! Yes! We have that. Come this way please." We go to the cabinet of wine with a sliding glass door. The owner opens it.

"Hey, aren't they buying a wine?" I asked the owner, observing the Karayan.

"Oh, they will. maybe later. I asked them a while ago they said they can manage. They will choose from the varieties." The owner reply. Hmmm, I just think deep.

"Oh, are you the owner here?" Tiffany said.

"Yes." The owner replied.

"Are they your regular customer?" I ask again the owner.

"Oh, yes. They are the second time around here." The owner answered.

"This, madam. Chateau Ausone 2012." As the owner introduces the wine to Tiffany. Tiffany gets the wine.

"Ah, why you asking, madam, sir?" The owner inquires to Tiffany.

"Nothing. We are just curious. That's all." Tiffany replies. Tiffany acts innocently, she put her arm to mine. The vampires seem to hear us, they look in our direction. As Tiffany held my arm and gave me the sweetest smile I've ever seen, my heartbeat fast.

"Is this wine good for you, ma'am?" The owner asked Tiffany for the wine.

"Yes, make it two bottles then I pay it," Tiffany reply instantly.

" Ok, mademoiselle will get an additional one." The owner immediately turns back to the wine cabinet to get another one. The owner then wraps the two bottles in the boxes, happily.

"How much does the total cost?" I ask the lady in the cashier.

"I will pay that," Tiffany says.

"No. Let me pay that, please. It's ok." I refused her.

"$1,230.00 your total bills for the two wines, sir/madam." The cashier said announced the bill. I quickly give my master card to the lady and she swipes it immediately. I put my signature on it.

"Thank you!" Tiffany thank me for paying for the wines. Tiffany gets the beautiful boxes of wine.

"Thank you! Please come again." The owner happily says and smiles at us.

"Let's go," Tiffany says. The vampires observe us until we get outside from the store. They come after us as we pretend to be a couple.

"Seems we had a company," Tiffany muttered to me.

"Think so," I agreed.

"We go with the flow," She replies.

"Hmmm.." As I said 'yes'. We saw a seafood restaurant and Tiffany wants to go there.

"Let's eat seafood. I'm hungry." Tiffany invites.

"Ok, let's go inside," I reply. Seems a date? But, Nah! We are on our mission. Silly me.

The vampires follow us, taking the table inside as we do. After the waiter got our order, Tiffany starts to shower my questions.

"So, you grew up here and come back," as she starts.

"Yes," I answered.

"New York is a good place to live and I guess a good place to build your career," Tiffany says.

"Well, on the contrary, you are right but for me, anywhere you can build your dream career. It's up to you if you excel or not." I replied. Never know what this questioning is all about. I feel she wants to dig something.

"I agree." She replies.

"How about you? Why did you become a policewoman? I didn't mean to discriminate against you but you are too beautiful for this work." I question her curiously.

"Oh, thank you for flattering me but I love man's work." As she replies.

"Oh, well, your beautiful badass! Ha! Ha! Ha!" I chuckled. She gives me a simper.

We start eating when I can't help but whisper to Tiffany.

"What do you think?" I ask her about the vampires who were keep looking at us from time to time.

"They have ears, so let us go along. And be patient, my dear, soon we will know, why?" Tiffany says passionately. I feel the heat, especially when he nibbled my ear. She doesn't have an idea of what she is doing to me, oh, my God! I turn like a red tomato. She laughed. I drink immediately the water at my table. She gives me a playful smile and a wink! Holy, cow! I don't know what to do, now. Please, stop it, Tiffany, or else, as I said to myself. Oh, thank God now that she starts to eat. She put food on her mouth and stop teasing me. Whew!
