C64- Emergency Meeting

Carlos's POV

The four escaped from our hands. Colton is panting and the rest of us fight them, I think.

"They escaped! They are the criminals that we are looking for maybe!" Colton exclaims.

"Yes, that is what I felt, too," Tiffany says.

"I guess so," Allyson said. I look at his ad the rest of the team.

"H-how did you do it?" Cris said panting from running and Gonzales, too.

"What?" Allyson furrow my brows.

"That you can run so fast that you passed to me and Colton," I said. Colton stares at him, me, too. I am doubting if he is human or not, though sniffing the air at this moment, I still smell him human. How could it be? I ask Casper. The Coating Spell. Casper said. What? A coating spell? I ask. Yes, Casper said. What is it? I ask him again. It is ancient spell-like camouflage. I'll tell you later. Casper said and he moves again away to rest.

"I-I don't know. I just ran in all I might. How about you, Chief? You are lycan." Allyson ask. My attention back to him again. I was surprised by his question.

"How did you know that I am a lycan?" I said.

"Of course your features tell me so. You are like Colton in his lycan form." Alyson said.

"You knew he is a lycan? I thought you will say that I am a werewolf-like what others thought of me because I smell a werewolf." I said blinking my eyes. Then I look at Colton's face.

"As I smell you yesterday, you are not human," I said with a poker face

"So you do," Colton said calmly.

"So four of you are superhumans, two are humans, and one is questionable." A voice joined in our conversation. When we look in the direction of his voice, it's Jasper. He walks towards us crossing his arms.

"Why one is questionable?" John says. Jasper rolls his eyes. John did not get the question, I think. Does he didn't know what happened to Allyson? Did not he observe it?

"Are you blind? Did you not see what Allyson did? Aside from overpassing the two lycans here, he beat the crap of Darius." Jasper said. He chuckled. I smile secretly.

"You knew that vampire?!" They said in chorus except for John, Tiffany, and me who knew Jasper and the three vampire clans. He rolled his eyes again. Open his palm facing the sky.

"Of course I knew them." Then he looks at John and says;

"i***t!" John draws his fang. I think they are not on good terms.

"You stupid evil!" And will attack Jasper when Tiffany stops them.

"Hey, hey! Stop it you two. Let us not stay here. Let's talk to the other places." Tiffany stops them. Good thing she does. I think I have two toddlers on the team.

"He is right." Officer Gonzales said.

"Ok, let's move," I said and he wink at Jasper sending meaning to him and so he is gone in the blink of an eye. Does he receive my message? I said in my mind. Perhaps, Casper answered.

"Guys let's move out and don't talk while we are inside the forest. The forest has eyes and ears now let's move." I said. We walk silently in the forest making our way out. I feel the forest. They are peaceful again. But I don't trust its silence.

When we are out to the forest and pass the river, we went back to the place where our cars were parked. We drive our way back to the headquarters.

"Officer Gonzales, please buy lunch for us. We will take our lunch in the meeting room. Officer John, please accompany Officer Gonzales in buying our food." I Requested Officer Gonzales. I give Officer Gonzales the bucks to buy food.

"Let us have an emergency meeting team." I turn to them then I stride inside the headquarters. They follow me while the two buy our lunch. Inside, The Chief doesn't speak for a moment.

"So what do you plan now, Chief?" Tiffany breaks the silence. I look at her and sigh.

"Let us wait first, Jasper. Why he is not yet here?" I said impatiently. They shrug their shoulders. We heard a knock on the door. Allyson opens the door. Officer Gonzales and John come in with our lunch. We are delighted. I smell the food. It's delicious and I feel hungry and Gonzales's stomach makes a grumbling sound. We laugh and he shyly touches his stomach.

"Let us eat first, guys," I said, starting eating my food as soon as I get mine. They are starting to get our food by themselves and eat.

"I've never seen you running that fast before, Allyson?" I heard Cris whisper to him.

"Me, too, I don't know I have a talent for the candidate as sprint king. He! He! He!" Allyson said to him. I don't know if he is joking or not?

"Chief, I hope you do not get mad if I ask you questions." We all look to Officer Gonzales.

"It's ok, Officer Gonzales. You can ask questions as you like." I said in between my meals while I am not looking at him.

"S-sir you are a werewolf, (he look to Colton), like this Officer Campbell." As he said with amazement in his eyes.

"Hmmm..yes. But as Allyson said, I am a lycan, not a werewolf, perhaps I may look like but I am a lycan and so officer Campbell. I thought you are fun of supernatural stories, so what do you think now that we exist?" I give him a challenging question, stares at him intently.

"Uhm. Well, it's cool. As you can fight with our enemy, I guess." Officer Gonzales says stuffing food in his mouth.

" Good to hear that you still like us. We live with humans long before and we don't intend to destroy you or spread chaos but of course, some have evil minds. Like what we are hunting now." I say.

Jasper appeared in the meeting room.

"So why are you late?" I said to Jasper when he appeared in the meeting room.

"I go hunting my food. You are eating and I am not?" Jasper said. John squinted his eyes to him. Well, that's a valid reason.

"Is he with us, too?" I heard Gonzales whisper to Cris.

"Yes," Cris answered him so Gonzales shut his mouth and just listen.

"Ok, so who are they? What did you know?" I ask him without beating around the bush, plop my elbows at the table.

"They are from Bancroft Clan. Darius is their leader. When I came into that place I heard that woman scream so I went there. I saw them they killed the woman of course. They make her food and the other woman is Lana, the lover of Darius, she is from Karayan Clan so as expected, I won't be surprised if she has no heart inside her body when the result from forensic is done." Jasper said. Gonzales drops his spoon with his mouth open.

"Why didn't you help the woman!" John said angrily. Jasper rolls his eyes and cross over his arms. Why is John mad at Jasper? I think he is being irrational.

"Why should I? I am undercover here, so I should do my mission the best I can. I cannot help that woman even I want, too. If I do they will be suspicious to me, you chicken head!" Jasper hissed. John will say something but I cut him. Jasper explained himself beautifully and rightly.

"Yes! He has a point, John. So don't be mad at him. You know his role is very important and complicated so he must be very careful and so are we." I said. Tiffany pats his shoulder. Though I don't know why these two are bickering. but obviously, they hate each other in my assumption.
