I'm so happy to be attending same college as Joy,I just wish Catherine was here but she and her boyfriend got into another college.Its the same college Judah is attending so she would also have a friend to show her around and she and her boyfriend can become stable again cause things had been a bit rocky with them since she caught Anita giving him a blow job but they are working on it. I really love this fresh start,no high school drama except one Andre,he told me he needed somebody like me to get him to date again,I talked to joy about this and she said she was not interested in Andre cause he was too loud,she wanted a guy that was calm cause she was also loud but she warned me to stay away from Andre cause he was bad news.A girl wants what she wants right,besides i'm not a little girl anymore, I liked Andre but was more rational than I was in highschool,I won't wait around for him to notice me,once I'm settled in and familiar with the environment I'll tell him how I feel,i'm optimistic it would go well even though Andre has the reputation of a man w***e with his friends,the one with the dark hair I heard Andre calling him Nate or is it Nathan whatever, that one is creepy and also has a frown on his face whenever he looks at me,I know I'm not any better cause I look at him with disgust but in my defense i'm sure he would have STD or something with the frequency at which he changes girls not that I care. Andre would stop all those when we start dating.
It my freshman year and Andre has been really helpful,even though things were a bit awkward for him when joy is around,but they've been trying to get back to how things were before.Andre helped us move,showed us around, invited us to their parties even hanged out with us. Some months to the end of my freshman year I decided it was time to tell Andre how I feel about him plain and simple cause I've been turning guys down all year for this moment.I finished class earlier today and I decided to wait for Andre in front of his lecture hall since they seem to be almost done and soon everybody was out but I was not really surprised that Andre and Nate or Nathan were the last to stroll out.As usual girls waiting around immediately surrounded them I met Nate's eyes and he had a frown on his face,I just rolled my eyes with disgust and turned to Andre "Andre can I talk to you for a minute" "ok,little Nat" he replied and I said "you need to stop calling me that,we are in college already and its not cute anymore" he smirked and replied"You would always be little Nat to me"that sounded wierdly sweet but I focused on what I wanted to say "Andre you've always been a great friend to me, I've always appreciated the little things you do for me and how you've always been there for me" I said and noticed Andre looking at a particular girl who was talking to his friend Nathan after all the other girls left "I admire and love some qualities you have like the fact that you are focused, confident, funny, caring and sweet and I want you know that I ......"
"Excuse me" I heard someone say only to notice that the girl talking to Nathan was now close to us and trying to get Andre's attention "sorry to interrupt but Andy love,hope you didn't forget about our dinner date this weekend" she continued Andre pulling his hand through his hair Andre replied "uhmm yes I didn't" "babe you promised to surprise me and please not with a kiss this time you know how my dad can be,he almost saw us last weekend,oh and my answer to the question you asked is yes,see you later love"she said walking away "I'll call you,we have to talk" he told her "babe I'm kind of busy with work but we'll talk when we go out,is that OK" she said "OK,I'll pick you up by 7pm on Saturday"he said " OK bye dear" she said as she got into her car which looked really expensive and drove off.
Andre quickly turned to look at Nathan who was busy sucking some girls face oblivious to anything happening around then he turned to me and said " so what were you saying, sorry about that" after everything that just happened in front of me I realized Andre has never and would never see me as something more,I was so much of a younger sister to him and once again I was heart broken so I quickly concluded with shaky voice "I want you to know that I love and appreciate you and everything you've taught me" he smiled and hugged me saying " I love you too little Nat,I don't care if we have different parent but you always have been and would always be my younger sister and family" And that's the problem I want more from him but would never get that,it time to stop this one sided crush and mend my broken heart.
Andre offered to drop me off but I refused cause I couldn't stand him or the annoying look from his friend Nathan so I left on my own to meet one person who had my back in all of this, Joy.
