JOY's POV

I feel a sense of peace with everything that happened this past weekend,I am now engaged to the love of my life despite everything we've been through.I felt like I was walking on clouds, who better to share this with than with my girls,I sent a voice note to all of them so we can meet up,I know they would be very surprised when I spilled the tea.

"Babe,I know you are itching to spend time with your girls which I understand but we really need to meet up with our friends tonight"Hansel said "Right now I don't care if the sky is falling,I just want some time alone with my girls,like I have to tell them first"I replied excited "sure babe,but we are all meeting up after you tell them" Hansel said smiling "What do I wear,the gold shinny gown or the jumpsuit" I asked "Wow! you really must be very excited to be actually confused about what to wear" he said poking me "Come on babe,I'm just wondering would a cooperate look be ok today since I have important news to announce or would a flirty look be better,help me out here"I said a little desperate "whatever you pick would be just fine,you tend to pull them off in a very sexy way,plus I love both look so I'm as confused as you are,just pick one"he said "That not really helpful you know"I replied while he tried to catch up with his work.

We all met at Nora's home,this is our first time here and I have to say,it looks very lavish "Girl your house is lovely" Cathy said as I walked in "Girlsssss! I got big news" I said all hyped up "I hope to God this is huge Joy cause you are always extra"Natalie said "Shut up b***h and listen,this girl here has got the tea" I replied "Yea she is extra extra today if that is a word"Nora said "Come on,I wanted to share this with you girls first, act curious and excited for me" I said "ofcourse we are excited and curious Joy but you are dragging it out"Julia said "Are you pregnant,oh my God she's got that glow,she is pregnant" Cathy screamed "I'll be the Godmother"Julia and Cathy screamed "You have to name her after me"Natalie said "Oh my I'm going to spoil her,I'll have another baby apart from Ryan"Nora said."Girllllllllssss! I'm not f*****g pregnant,stop it"I screamed "Then what is it"Natalie asked while the rest looked at me expectantly, smiling I said "Pow!" showing them my ring and they all screamed while we jumped up and down for a while and then Natalie began tearing up "Don't even start,you would make me cry too" I told her "I'm trying not to, I'm so happy for you,my friend is getting married"Natalie said in-between sobs "How did we grow up so fast,I mean we just went to prom yesterday" Cathy said sobbing too.After getting emotional,we laughed,hugged and then the girls began planning my wedding actively like it's a week away, the call from my fiancee reminded us we have been keeping the guys waiting. We met the guys and the congratulations kept pouring in making me blush while clinging to Hansel,he wouldn't let me go anyway.

"So When is the Wedding"Andre asked smiling "we would get back to you all on that"Hansel said "I'm just so happy to have you guys around as we plan to start the next chapter of our life,I wouldn't want anyone else beside us"I said tearing up again "Natalie stop making me cry,stop sobbing already"I said hating how emotional I was getting "Ok enough crying,group hug girls"Julia said and we hugged squealing while the guys laughed "Congratulations Joy and Hansel,I can show you elegant ideas for a wedding dress"Rita said drawing all our attention her as she clinged to Andre,I smiled at her as Nora rolled her eyes."Where is Tyler"I asked Julia "Long story for another day,we are focusing on you today girl"Julia replied "I was wondering if we could all hang out"Rita asked "Sure" Cathy replied "How does next weekend sound"she asked again "Do you have any plans Natalie,Nora and Julia"I asked but before they could reply Rita cut in saying "I mean just us girls since our boyfriends are close" "So who exactly are you going to cut out"Cathy asked her with tension rising

"I'm not trying to exclude anyone,I just want to get well acquainted with the girlfriends of the guys here since they are all close to my boyfriend,I was hoping we could be friends" Rita said "Actually I'm not dating any of the guys so that takes me out of people you want to hang out with,same goes for Nora and Julia,so enjoy your weekend"Natalie said "No problem,you and Julia could tag along"Rita replied,while I shook my head cause this girls is acting stupid and petty."I don't go to places where I'm not really wanted,I have a million things to keep me busy,trust me caring for my daughter is no joke"Julia replied "Girls please calm down,I think what Rita meant was she just wanted you all to get to know each other better"Andre cut in "So why try to exclude some persons when she knows we are all close, that's a shitty move for her to make"I told Andre "Sweetheart please let her clearify herself,it might just actually be a silly misunderstanding"Hansel said "Right Rita?"he concluded "Yea"Rita said "So you all should calm down and give her a chance to explain before going into offensive mood"Judah said kissing Cathy "What I meant was that I wanted to get to know you all,I never meant to exclude anyone.I just want to get to bond with you girls since we would be meeting more often,I also don't want to make Nora uncomfortable since my boyfriend is her ex and I really need an opportunity to speak freely about him when we meet" Rita explained which sounded truly reasonable."We are having a family meeting next weekend so Nora won't be available,I hope that settles this"Nathan said concluding everything and we went back to our happy mood.

when we got home that night,I still couldn't shake off my doubts about Rita's intention which I voiced out but Hansel said "I know you girls are cool with Nora now but it still doesn't change the fact that she hurt Dre,he is over her and is inlove with someone else,please you girls should give Rita a fair chance, Nora had her chance and she did what she wanted with it,giving Rita a chance is also giving Andre an opportunity to find happiness,God knows the guy needs it" "fine,I get you.Judah said something like that too to Natalie,Cathy and I before we left"I replied sighing then continued "so talking about our engagement when are we informing our parents" that left him flustered but he said "I know we have to soon but I just scared my mom would try something,I don't want to lose you,I can't deal with anymore drama" he said making me kiss him "You aren't losing me babe,So calm down"

As i drifted off to sleep cuddled up in his arms, I know my life is just perfect with this guy and I plan on keeping him for life.
