The next day arrived faster than Kael expected. The night felt short too, each moment still relieving itself in his mind. Now, he found himself seated at the dining table, ready to have breakfast.
Lina moved softly around the room, placing dishes in front of him and setting the cutlery neatly, all in silence.
After she was done, he began eating. He picked at his food for a moment before looking up. "What about Morvienne?" he asked curiously, wondering why she was not down yet. "Have you informed her about breakfast?"
Lina paused, hands folded in front of her, and her eyes lowered respectfully. "Yes, Alpha. I have," she answered. "Miss Morvienne has already had breakfast in her room. She apologizes for not being able to join you."
