Her smile faded into uncertainty, and she swallowed lightly. Slowly, she stretched her hand forward, her palm facing up, then looked away, her shoulders slightly tense, as if she was bracing herself. She wanted to move her hand closer to touch the horse, but she was still a bit unsure, then, the horse leaned forward.
