Kael had just reached for the door when it opened from the other side.
Morvienne stood there, clearly on her way out, her hand still on the handle. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw him.
"You're back," she said, a hint of surprise in her voice. "I thought you would stay longer."
Her gaze searched his face. "How did it go?"
A small smile tugged at his lips as he stepped forward, gently nudging the door wider. She moved back instinctively, allowing him in, then followed, closing the door behind them.
"It was good, actually," he replied, already reaching for the buttons of his shirt.
