"Help. Let me out! ALPHA!!" Morvienne screamed as the car sped forward, the sound of the engine overshadowing her voice.
Her hands slammed against the locked door, her fingers shaking as she tried the handle again and again, but it wouldn't open. She twisted her body, half rising from the seat, her face full of panic as the pack grounds grew farther and farther away.
"Please... no, LET ME OUT!!" she cried, her voice breaking. "Please, let me out." She turned her head sharply toward the back window of the car, staring through the glass as the Varyn Pack disappeared behind them, no longer in sight.
Her chest hurt so bad and her hands trembled just as bad. She could barely grip the door anymore, but fought against the fear and threw herself back toward the door, reaching again.
