Chapter 006: An awkward first impression

(Clara’s POV) “Mmmh… ahh. Yes… go harder, Daddy.” The woman’s throaty moan, followed by the sharp, rhythmic slap of flesh against flesh, slammed into my brain like thunder. I had always been sheltered. Morally. Emotionally. Financially. And even physically, except for the times I trained. What my parents never understood was that their constant protection and isolation only made me more curious. Their overprotection had produced the exact opposite of what they intended. For a while, I had been desperate to understand s*x. In secret, I watched intimate videos online, mostly soft, romantic ones between couples. Nothing too lewd. I couldn’t bring myself to go further. This started when I was sixteen. After a few months, the guilt became unbearable, and I stopped. I buried the secret deep. My parents still believed their daughter was completely innocent. I made sure of that. The shame of being “tainted” had haunted me for years. Now, the raw sounds of s*x were crashing over me, awakening something deep inside that I didn’t know how to handle. My mind screamed at me to turn back, but my legs refused to obey. Instead, I found myself stepping forward until I stood directly in front of the open door. The room was enormous, larger than any other I’d seen and the bed was ridiculous in scale, clearly custom-made. Five people were tangled together on it, lost in a haze of pleasure. The lighting was low and intimate, but I could still see everything. Moans and grunts filled the air, thick and obscene. Heat bloomed across my skin. I tugged at my collar, suddenly too warm. The woman at the center has breathtaking curves in all the right places, neither excessive nor understated. She wore provocative lingerie that barely qualified as clothing: thin straps, sheer black net gloves that ran up her arms, and a delicate bow between her breasts. Her full, milky breasts were exposed to the cool air. The tiny scrap of fabric she called panties had a deliberate slit down the center. I knew this because one man was thrusting into her from behind, driving deep with every stroke while she eagerly sucked and licked another man standing in front of her. They shifted positions fluidly. The other two men joined in, and she worked to pleasure all of them with shameless enthusiasm. My gaze drifted to a man sitting on a couch like a king observing the scene. He wore a black bathrobe and held a glass of wine, his expression unreadable as he watched the scene. He was devastatingly handsome, almost dangerously so. I was so captivated by him that I didn’t notice the presence behind me until it was too late. “Are you enjoying the view?” A deep, velvety voice murmured right against my ear. “Ahh!” I shrieked, spinning around. Another stunning man stood right in my front. I almost collided against his chest. He wore a red shirt with the sleeves rolled up over impressive biceps, paired with black pants. His jet-black hair looked so soft I had the sudden, ridiculous urge to run my fingers through it. I blinked hard, mentally scolding myself. Where did that come from? On the surface, my face remained calm, the well-trained mask of a princess. The people in the room had noticed our arrival—or rather, the guy dressed in black bathrobe. He rose gracefully and walked toward us while the others continued without pause, as if the rest of the world had ceased to exist. “Oh, Michael,” the man in red drawled, his tone teasing yet laced with accusation. “What an interesting scene you’ve set up here.” “Hmm,” Michael replied indifferently, walking past me as if I were invisible. “That’s not the worst part,” the man in red continued. “You let this little bunny witness something so filthy. Do you want to scare her off?” I almost nodded in agreement before he casually draped an arm around my shoulders like we were old friends. I immediately shrugged it off. “Keep your paws to yourself,” I said, voice flat. “Aww, a little rabbit with sharp claws. I like that.” He nodded, looking entirely too pleased with himself. Before I could snap at him, another voice cut in. “What is going on here?” I looked past the annoying man in red and saw yet another gorgeous stranger—this one in a blue shirt. He had a sharp jawline, chestnut hair similar to mine, and wore glasses that somehow made him even more attractive. His face, however, was locked in a permanent scowl as he passed by me like I was air. I blinked hard. Woah. I’ve been ignored twice today. “Well,” the man in red said, “Micheal went behind our backs to have fun. He brought in some entertainment and decided to put on a show in our theater room… while this little bunny here snuck in to watch.” His face was etched with a sly mischievous smirk that made him so dangerously attractive and yet punch-worthy at the same time. “I wasn’t peeking, I was comfortably watching.” I argued, trying to keep my embarrassment at bay, when the guy dressed in blue unexpectedly retorted. "And where did this stray dog come from?" I stared wide-eyed at him. It couldn't be that this guy was calling me a dog, right? But I confirmed that it was indeed me he was talking to because he was glaring daggers at me like I stole something of his. “Are you bonkers?” I couldn’t help but hiss at him. “If I’m a stray dog, then you must be the fire hydrant everyone avoids.” A heavy silence fell over the hallway. Then the red-clothed guy bent over and burst out laughing. He was laughing and spasming so hard I was worried he would have a seizure. Even Micheal, the one in the black bathrobe, had his lips curled slightly while the grumpy guy glared hard at me. I shrugged at him. I wasn’t bothered at all. It not like he could hit me or something. “I…I had never seen anyone talk back to Zack that way. You are the first and I like that.” The devilish guy in red spoke up after his laughing fit. His eyes had a glint to them and I knew he was thinking of doing something bad. “Whoa, we have company! And a very pretty one at that.” Another voice rang out in the hallway which broke the tension. I looked past the red-clothed guy and glanced at the newcomer. And oh my God! What in the name of God is happening in this villa? It is such a rare sight to see handsome guys gather in one place, and yet I am a testament to that and not just one or two but four gorgeous men in one sitting. That is not something you see every day. I mused internally. This newcomer had messy dirty-blonde hair, warm eyes, and a bright smile that showed off a charming dimple. Unlike the others, his face lit up with genuine surprise and friendliness when he saw me. I raised my eyebrows at that. That is a first. He walked straight over and offered me a warm smile. “Hey, I’m Sebastian. You can call me Seb instead. All my close friends do.” But I am not your friend yet. I bit my lips to stop myself from spurting out my thoughts. At least , compared to the rest, he seemed nice. I lifted my chin and addressed all four of them calmly. “My name is Clara Hautè. Chairman Shaw arranged for me to live here as your new roommate. I just arrived.” The hallway went silent. The man in red whistled low. “Well, damn. Grandpa Shaw really went all out this time.” Michael’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he said nothing. The guy with glasses expression became even more grim before he groaned out loud in distress. I rolled my eyes at their dramatic response. “With your reactions, one would think you are the one losing out, whereas I am the one in danger of your shenanigans.” I spoke bitterly and gestured towards the ‘theater room’. Everyone’s gaze followed mine. On the large bed, the people engaging in carnal desires had now reduced their intensity as they licked each other. But still, the sight of them was just as stimulating. Sebastian cleared his throat and laughed sheepishly. “Ah…uhm…well, I will take care of that for you.” He then walked towards the room to settle them, I presume. “Tch!” The guy in glasses clicked his tongue at me before walking downstairs. “What a baby.” I rolled my eyes at his back only to catch the red-clothed guy staring at me with amusement dancing in his eyes. “What exactly is funny to you?” I couldn’t help but ask him. “I can’t help it, you are fun to mess with, and I enjoy it,” he replied, the faintest trace of amusement still lingering at the corner of his mouth. I blinked hard at his reply. Am I going to live under the same roof with a psycho? I hope grandpa knows what he is doing. This is sick. I shivered at the thought but chose to ignore his words. “Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to choose my room and settle in myself.” I didn’t wait for his reply before I walked past him towards downstairs where my luggage was. As I walked down the staircase, I heard him chuckle behind me. “…Yeah.” “This is definitely going to be fun.”
