~JADE~
Seeing Ryker again had been the last thing I had expected.
Several emotions rushed through me as I stared at him and I had so many questions in my head.
My first instinct was to cry and tell him how much I missed him while peppering his face with kisses but as soon as I saw the pure hate in his eyes, I knew I had to get away from him.
He hadn't forgiven me for leaving all those years ago and I didn't blame him.
“Let go of me!” I muttered harshly and that just seemed to anger him.
“Are you that desperate to get away from me?” He asked and I could hear the faint hurt in his tone.
It wasn't like I wanted to get away from him but I needed to. With how much he hated me, if he found out about the twins, if he knew I hid them from him…
“Get over the past, Ryker. It's been Three years” I muttered coldly and my heart ached when his face fell before he let out a cold chuckle.
“I am over the past, little mouse but what I'm not over is how much I hate you” He muttered through clenched teeth.
“I'm not done with you yet so you're not going anywhere” He added then let go of my neck, grabbed my wrist and led me towards where everyone else is.
“Let go of me!” I struggled as I tried to get out of his hold but he held onto me tightly.
“We have loaded the survivors in the back of the truck. Should I load her in with them?"
I turned towards the voice and my eyes widened when I saw who it was. I remembered Zane because he and Ryker have been inseparable since we were kids.
We had been close but with the way he glared at me, I doubt that friendship still stood.
“She will ride in my car. Round everyone up and let everyone know that this is my territory now” Ryker ordered and Zane nodded then flashed me a glare as he walked away.
“What are you going to do with me?” I asked as he pulled me towards the car. I was way too tired to fight at this point knowing there was no way I was winning.
“Who gave you the right to ask questions?” He responded coldly then opened the door and practically shoved me into it.
“For someone who claims to hate me, you sure won't give me f*****g space” I snapped while massaging my wrist as I glared at him.
I turned to the door and noticed the locks and handle were broken off.
“If you were thinking of jumping out, don't bother but if you manage to get out of this car without my permission, I'll have your head ripped off on the spot” He threatened and I clenched my fist before turning to him.
“What do you want?” I whispered as I took him in.
His face wasn't as soft as it used to be. He looked like he had gone through horrendous hardship that had hardened his handsome face.
I couldn't help but trace the line of his tattoo that disappeared underneath his shirt.
Without saying a word, he leaned in. I moved backwards to try and get away from him but that just trapped me between him and the car door.
“Like I said before, Little mouse. I want to ruin you” He whispered then without warning, he captured my lips in a kiss.
I gasped in shock and he delved his tongue into my mouth with no hesitation and an involuntary moan escaped my lips as he ran his hand down my body.
I should push him away but damn, I missed this, I missed him. Damon had never been able to make me feel this way.
Suddenly, he pulled away and grabbed my chin, forcing me to look him in the eye.
“You're mine now to use as I please” He muttered and slowly, his words dawned on me and I gritted my teeth.
“If you think I'm going to be your s*x slave then you must be insane” I muttered and he chuckled.
“Your life is in my hands now, Little mouse. Do you think you have a choice?” He muttered as he pulled away. After that, he pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his mouth like he had just tasted something rotten.
I turned to stare out the window so he wouldn't see just how much that had affected me.
“Why haven't we moved yet?” He asked the chauffeur.
“Just rounding up. We'll leave soon” The Chauffeur responded and Ryker nodded before pulling out his phone and totally ignoring my presence.
The car ride began and as I glanced at the window, staring at the pack I used to call home for three years in ruins, I felt nothing.
The pack had never been good to me. They have never accepted the fact that a rogue became Luna.
I turned away, happy that that chapter of my life was over but now, I wasn't sure if I was entering an even hotter hell.
“My luggage, was it carried along?” I asked as I turned to Ryker but he didn't even acknowledge my words.
“Ryker….”
“Who gave you the right to call me by my name?” He asked as he turned to me and I frowned.
“This is important, Ryker. I have valuables in that luggage And…”
“I don't give a f**k, Jade. You're a prisoner, not a guest” He muttered then turned away from me and sadness washed over me.
How could I reach my mother without that phone?
“When did you become this vile?” I questioned harshly and he scoffed.
“Don't act like you know me, Jade. You don't” He muttered and I pursed my lips before turning away.
I was done trying to talk to him. Once we got to our destination, I would find a way to escape.
We hadn't even gotten one hour into the journey when the car abruptly came to a halt and Zane appeared beside Ryker's window with a frown on his face.
“What is it?” Ryker asked after rolling his window down.
“It's Damon. He escaped”...
