They kept on going back and forth and I remained frozen in my spot. As I was about to run upstairs, I heard Aiden’s voice.
“Come back here, Noah.” His words echoed through the room, sending chills down my spine. I paused, my body prepared to run, then slowly turned back to face him.
“What?” I asked nonchalantly, staring at the boys who stood beside each other.
“So you almost killed someone?” Aiden questioned, a mixture of disappointment and anger in his voice. “You turned an innocent boy into a werewolf.”
Before I could open my mouth to respond, which I didn’t even plan on doing, Dimitri spoke. “Why do you all act like being a werewolf is such a bad thing?” Dimitri asked, his hands rising into the air in exasperation.
