The notification from my period tracking app flashed on my screen again. I sighed and put the phone away. My period had been over a week late.
I wasn’t worried at first. After all, I thought my cycle was just changing because I had s*x. But when I checked the internet and read an article where they said we should be worried after the seventh day, I started freaking out.
But I took the morning pill, so I didn’t see any reason to miss my period. I was nervous and I didn’t want to keep on worrying, so I decided to go to the drugstore to get a pregnancy test.
