“Make sure your eyes are closed, don’t peep!” Noah squealed in excitement as she covered my eyes tightly with her hands and led me to a room.
“My eyes are closed.” I raised my hands in the air. “I’m not peeping,” I said with a smile.
“Okay, you can open them now.” She led me into the room and took her hands off my eyes. “Surprise!!” She screamed in excitement and I froze in awe.
“Damn.” That was the only thing I could mutter. It was my birthday and she had a room decorated with balloons, ribbons, and presents for me. “Thank you, Noah,” I said in appreciation, engulfing her in a tight hug.
