“Noah!” Katie yelled my name and knocked on my door. I got up from my bed and quickly rushed to the door.
My heart raced as I twisted the door knob. The news I was about to receive was going to break me if it wasn’t a positive one. I unlocked the door and it swung open.
Katie walked inside my room and closed the door behind her. She had an unreadable expression registered on her face.
“So is the fight over? Who won?” I asked her but she was still quiet. I didn’t like the suspense, it was killing me. “Katie, just say something please.”
“Yes, the fight is over.” She said in a low tone.
“So, who won?” She didn’t look too happy and it seemed like something was wrong. “Please tell me, the suspense is killing me.” I pleaded, staring into her worried eyes.
