It was only a day before the Howling Gala. It always happened twice a year. And it was done a day or two after a full moon.
Katie was meant to go with me to shop for a new dress but I had canceled with her because she refused to tell me what she went downstairs to talk about with Dimitri.
According to her it was a secret and she was keeping it away from me to protect me. I didn’t need any protection from anybody.
The previous night was tiring because it was a full moon and we spent most of the night shifting in the woods. I was meant to be resting but I was excited to shop for a new dress.
