Chapter 21
The second and last lecture of the day flew by as fast as it came. I hit the library for some quiet time to study as I waited for Emma to get out of her final class for the day. I was so engrossed in my studies and books that I didn’t see or hear the people around me. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. My heart froze, hoping it wasn't Ryan. One never knows with the disgusting text earlier. I turned and saw it was Cecilia. I smiled. I’m genuinely happy to see her. She sits at the table and asks about what I am studying. I told her I tried to study everything I needed for the exam in Elizabeth's class, but I couldn’t focus on the lecture or get my notes done during the lecture, so I didn’t know how this would go for me.
