A LOVE THAT FELT LIKE MAGIC

736 Words
(Cecy’s POV) If love had a season, then Cecilia believed she was finally living in spring. With Wilton, everything felt new, even the ordinary. The sun seemed warmer, the wind softer, and even silence carried meaning. He had a way of looking at her as if she was the only story worth telling in a world full of noise. Their love did not rush—it unfolded. It began with small things. Morning texts that simply read “Did you wake up smiling?” Late evening walks where their hands brushed before finally holding. Laughter that came too easily, as if their souls already understood each other. Cecilia had never felt seen like this before. Wilton didn’t just look at her beauty he studied her. The way her eyes softened when she talked about her mother. The way her voice changed when she was unsure. The quiet strength she carried from a childhood that demanded resilience. And in return, Cecilia loved Wilton deeply, almost fearfully. He wasn’t perfect but to her, he was real. He had dreams bigger than himself, a heart that carried both ambition and scars, and a tenderness he only showed her. When he spoke about the future, he always included her not as an option, but as certainty. “Cecilia,” he once whispered under a sky full of stars, “I don’t just love you… I see my life with you.” That night stayed with her. Because for the first time, love didn’t feel like something she had to chase… it felt like something that had found her. Their moments became memories quickly: They danced in the rain one afternoon, laughing like children, not caring who saw them. They shared secrets under dim lights, their voices soft, their hearts wide open. They argued sometimes but even their fights ended in closeness, not distance. Wilton knew how to pull her back when she drifted into doubt. And Cecilia knew how to calm him when the world felt too heavy. They became each other’s peace. But what made their love feel like fantasy wasn’t perfection it was the intensity. The way his touch lingered. The way her name sounded different when he said it. The way time seemed to pause when they were together. Cecilia began to build dreams around him. A home filled with laughter. Mornings waking up beside him. A future where love wasn’t questioned. She gave herself fully. Heart. Trust. Hope. And Wilton received it all gently, carefully… like something fragile but priceless. Yet, somewhere deep inside her, there was a quiet whisper she didn’t fully understand. A feeling she couldn’t name. Because as much as Wilton felt like everything… There was still a part of Cecilia that felt like it was searching. Searching for something… or someone. And she didn’t know why. But for now, she chose love. She chose Wilton. And in his arms, she allowed herself to believe that maybe just maybe this was the kind of love that lasts forever. Cecy: “Wilton… do you ever feel like everything is moving too fast?” Wilton: “Fast? I feel like we’ve been waiting for each other forever.” Cecy: “I’m serious. Sometimes it scares me… how much I feel for you.” Wilton: “Is that a bad thing?” Cecy: “No… it’s just new. I’ve never loved like this before.” Wilton: “Then don’t be afraid of it. We’re building something real, Cecy.” Cecy: “And what if one day it all changes?” Wilton: “Then we fight for it. I’m not going anywhere.” Cecy: “You say that so easily.” Wilton: “Because I mean it. I see you in my future.” Cecy: “You really do?” Wilton: “Every plan I make… you’re there. It’s not even a question anymore.” Cecy: “Sometimes I wonder if I deserve this kind of love.” Wilton: “Hey… don’t say that. You deserve more than this.” Cecy: “You make me feel safe, Wilton.” Wilton: “That’s all I want. To be your peace.” Cecy: “And you are… but promise me something.” Wilton: “Anything.” Cecy: “If things ever get hard… don’t let go of me.” Wilton: “I promise. I’ll hold on… even when you feel like slipping away.” Awww isn’t that cute 💕
