Matthew, Magnus and the small group ascended to the officer level. Uncomfortable silence was only broken by the sound of the grinding metal from the lift. Matthew stared ahead focused on what was coming, and what he needed to do.
Magnus glanced over his shoulder to see the siblings huddled together, and their troops surrounding them. He sensed their suspicion. “So, it looks like our journey will soon come to an end,” he said with a sigh.
