Aje is a cult group that at this point I can't call "small".Minus Ebenezer Aje has thirty four members.it consists of both gender.this was after danny decided to involve his girlfriend.

technically Jenifer danny's girl was also my girlfriend and that is something I still can't believe. Aje had seven girls and twenty eight "men". proudly members. this seven girls goes by name :jenifer.. cynthia: the prettiest of them all, claire: the principal s daughter, josephine and Marie who were both sisters..then Diane and priscilla whom I can bet my nose that they are lesbian couple. lesbianism is something f*******n in africa but coming from a weak traditional family and a weak christian background what would one expect.

we were on the road now heading towards danny's house which was few poles away from the school..

I kept my face straight and expressionless knowing that fourteen eyes coming from seven different girls were on it. I was bothered more about what would happen in danny s house and what would become of my academic life after that. my parents would certainly skin me alive. we got to an open road now and the sun intensified. my look and extremely white skin colour shone and caused huge distraction. I tucked in my head into the hoodie I was wearing and soon we were at danny's house. I was certainly not the only one who knew we had reached our destination but I was the only one who headed for the gate. they all walked past the gate. I gently changed direction but everyone noticed.

I was the novice in this group. I wanted to ask my best friend what's up but the words won't come out. I was scared. scared that he would say something harsher than "shut up " and render me miserable to those girls. I followed them and before I knew it they were stopping a bus. have everyone gone nuts. I stopped walking for a while and when I noticed noone cared I continued with them.

wherever we were going to certainly had the answers I was looking for.

I was sitting on the same row with danny and the two female couples. these female couples was far much older than me so I had no business with them. I felt free to blow my mucus filled nose farted a little and turned to danny to talk the hell out of him. he could be rude for all I care tleast the girls were not into boys.

I asked daniel where we were going to and he replied "to see mike".I went on to ask him a couple of other questions but that was the only thing he said through out the drive.

i didn't know who mike was but I know he was of no good. he s someone I wouldnt like to see talk more of visit.

we got to the busstop and I wondered what could be happening in school then. I managed to phone a classmate and after several attempts she picked and told me to remain where I was. I taught it was funny and laughed with her but after I hung up my mood swings.

we eventually got to a white painted house which was made brown by age.i pressed the door bell and a young man whom I wished was not mike came out...

I narrated my plight to me not knowing what to expect from him after all.

after my story he didn't say a word he wen inside brought an old looking pendant and randomly gave it to three member of AJE.

i unfortunately was among the three. was that supposed to be magical I wondered..

danny received his and asked him what it was for. he asked him his name and when he said danny he replied it cures madness. that was funny but noone had the guts to laugh except cynthia. I wondered how he knew danny had mental issues. he eventually explained that it clears memories and once we could get it under in a person s office for a day any traces of AJE left in their head would be gone. that was funnier than the previous joke so this time I did the laughing not minding how wierd it looked.

I am not giving in to that stupid idea I said wondering what gave me that audacity. "there must be another way"...

jennifer's voice was heard she said "we'll do it" and noone opposed her. they all nodded in affirmation and it looked like me and my opinion was insignificant.

that was how we left mike s house with three fetish piece of crap inside my school bag.it was new yam festival and that afternoon masquerades filled the street. the scary faces of each masqurade reminded me of what I was getting myself into..this would certainly change Aje to a sacred cult something worse than what I joined four months ago.

we went back to danny's house and the big question was who would get this thing inside the staff room.

danny is our head so danny would do it.. cynthia said. she was certainly the most outspoken out of all of us..whoever that would do this had to sneak to school the next day and drop it in the staff room."..It had to be tomorrow or else the matter would get out of hand I suggested" danny looked at me In a way that was supposed to make me feel inferior...

we all went home as everyone was already all worked out and tired...

I managed to take a cab with my launch money and trekked the remaining distance.

when I got home I entered my room where the smell of egusi soup which filled the house was intense

I ran to the kitchen took my own share of food ,ran back to my room and settled down to eat. I was about to start eating when my half zipped school bag fell from the bed and the three pendant fell out. I lost appetite.
