Raine’s point of view
What was happening to her? It felt as if her lungs were being suffocated. She could barely breathe. One moment everything was fine but once her body accommodated the magic. She felt as if her skin was set on fire. The magic boiling in her veins and the sharp pierce struck her everywhere.
“Raine. Listen to me.” She raised her shaky eyes to meet Kayla’s steady ones. She felt bad for striking her sister, but that wasn’t her who was in control.
