Kayla’s eyes blinked open when she sensed her sister’s presence. “You are alive.” She whispered, hoarsely. Raine was lying right next to her. Her eyes open and she didn’t have a scratch on her. “You scared me,” Kayla whispered.
Raine nodded at her. “You scared me too.” Kayla pushed herself upright without feeling any pain tugging at her. She embraced her sister with a tight hug and held on, making sure that this wasn’t a dream or another test.
“I can’t begin to imagine if I have to lose you once more,” Kayla stated. “When I saw you just lying there unmoving, I wanted to die and not think about living without you.” She confessed.
