Boccob was not happy being jerked around. He fired a shot of magic which separated her from Raine breaking the bond. His spell divided them by summoning an invisible barrier between them. “You thought you could trick me?!” Boccob growled. “It worked, didn’t it?” Raine growled back. Unimpressed by her answer, he let off another attack that bounced off the barrier and exploded in the air. The impact knocked them over and Boccob decided that exact time to move in with a counter strike. She ripped out a dagger from the sheath around her leg, rolled onto her side and used the motion to push to her feet.
