The bull jumped straight out the gate as it clanged open. I’ve got this, knowing I was ready for anything it throws at me. Finish this ride, and I am the state champion. Everything the beast threw at me, I was prepared to counter. The horn sounded, and I tried to curb my excitement as I prepared to dismount the bull. As my hand reached for the rope, the bull shifted, and I completely missed it. He bucked again, causing me to slip into the well with my gloved hand trapped in the wrap. Oh s**t, not the position I was hoping to be in now.
I struggled as the bull started spinning in the opposite direction, and my feet got pulled off the ground. One bullfighter had jumped on the bull, yanking on the tail to free my hand. The seconds felt like minutes. Finally, my glove slipped
