CHAPTER 5 DANI It’s been a week since we moved into the new house and today also signals the first day of a new month, March, the first real spring month. Yesterday morning, when I dropped Rose off at school, Kim asked me if I could help them out with a walk through the town with the first four years of the school today. She said that it didn’t matter that I don’t know much about the town itself, but that my knowledge of flowers and plants will probably come in handy. She was hoping that I could make some time in my schedule. Which, of course, I was happy to do. Having a whole group of kids listening to me rambling on about some of my favourite things in the world, flowers, is always a pleasure. I stash a couple of glasses with hyacinths in a sturdy box to take with me to the school. T
