Nicolai burst into the pack's hospital, Jasmine's limp body cradled in his arms. His clothes were soaked with her blood, and fear gripped his heart. "Doctor! Doctor!" He yelled.
The doctor, caught in mid-conversation with a nurse, spun around. Her eyes widened in shock as she rushed toward Nicolai. "Alpha, what happened to her?"
Nicolai's voice trembled. "S...she was stabbed."
The doctor's expression turned grim. Nurses rushed over with a stretcher, gently lifting Jasmine onto it. They sped away to the ER, leaving Nicolai frantic with worry.
He wanted to go in with them but a nurse blocked his path. "I'm sorry, Alpha, but you can't come in. We'll do everything we can to save her life and the babies." She reassured before leaving.
