33 The Copper Horse is packed. I scan faces, trying not to be too obvious as I look for Luke. I don’t see him behind the bar, but that doesn’t mean he’s not here. Leia is, though, rocking her heart out on the cramped stage—even with a neon pink cast on her right wrist and hand, she’s jumping and slamming a tambourine into her scantily clad butt. I laugh to myself. Can’t keep a good twin down. Holden takes my hand and leads me to a table in the corner where some of his friends are already halfway to drunk. Thank heavens. We’re not going to be alone. He introduces me the best he can given the lack of space left for conversation over the blaring amps. A quick finger up and over his shoulder, and he’s swallowed by the crowd to retrieve drinks. It’s damn loud, but I’m grateful—no awkward ch
