6 While I stand in a light rain outside Piewalker’s, the breeze carries the promise of sugary goodness. A real-life kaleidoscope, umbrellas bounce down the block, scurrying to hit crosswalks or grab the bus sloshing toward the stop. Luke’s crowd, though thinner this morning, will fatten up for lunch. Friday midday is always busy as folks head into the city center for shopping adventures.
