“We’re here!” Naria shouted excitedly before she even entered the gate of their house.
“Naria!” Grace ran out of the house upon seeing her sister.
“Careful! Goodness, you are huge!” Naria ran toward Grace as well.
The sisters hugged tightly. Grace, now 19, is set to give birth any day with her first child. She spent a few years in Vincot, the village of the virgins, before she’s asked for her hand in marriage by Arnel, a man from her tribe.
“Are you delivering my baby?” Grace asked after shouting to her mother that Naria is back.
“Of course, that’s why I’m here. How’s my clinic?” Naria motioned to her companion to enter the house.
“Good! Aunt Marie and Uncle Aaron are taking care of your patients,” Grace smiled at their guests and told them to sit.
“Naria, welcome back!”
