Scott awakes feeling more exhausted than he was when he went to sleep.  Usually, Scott doesn't sleep, he doesn't even need to. He enjoys the feeling though, the peaceful, quiet getaway.  Before he discovered his souls, they were constantly blabbering nonsense so Scott couldn't find a place to keep everything quiet. Even while sleeping, he could hear and see things that he didn't want to see or hear. When he figured out how to communicate with his souls, his thoughts became silent. But at that time, he was very grateful.
