I opened my eyes only too be meet by a familiar sight. My wardrobe was wide open revealing my neatly folded clothes and a table beside my bed which I kept my book.
I reached under my pillow searching for my phone.
"Good morning. Hope you slept well? Please don't forget we have a game today, I would really need your support and bring my brother along." The text read.
Y'all should calm down before you get carried away by the thought of me having a boyfriend. Its only Timmy reminding me about the football match already planned for today.
"What ever?" I uttered slowly rising too my feet.
I waltz into the kitchen too get a cup of water when I met mom looking sexy in a black top and blue jean cooking up something for breakfast.
"Good morning ma." I said walking to the fridge too grab a bottle of water.
"Morning and what I'm I looking at?" Hands on her hips at this point staring at me.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied before taking a sip.
"I mean that.." She pointed at my chest. Then I understood, she was pointing at my n*****s. Although I had on a crop top there were still clearly visible without giving them much attention.
"Mom..... Its not okay." I said covering my breast with my arm.
Ever since puberty came knocking, I had too go through a lot of physical and psychology changes all together I honestly haven't fully recovered.
"Why are they're so huge?" She asked liked I knew the answer to that question.
"What are you doing here anyway? I thought you had an early day?" I replied eyes rolling at this point.
"I'll soon be leaving just gimme ten minute." She said.
"I didn't hear anything. Just ignore me." Dapo said walking past me. When did he get here? Has he been standing there the entire time?
"My son." Mom had her hands around his cheek.
"You're love affair is making me nauseous." I stormed out of the kitchen.
Shortly after mom left, I got ready for the football game Timmy forcefully invited me too. It was a friendly game between the ss1 and ss2 students which promises too be interesting.
The hype surrounding the match was due to the fact that they haven't once faced each other and Timmy was playing. Finally, after my pleas and sweet words.
I put on my Juventus jersey after finally winning the long fought battle with my bra, slipped into a my favorite black jean a black cap and I was good to go.
"Dapo. I'm ready." I yelled shutting the door before heading to the living room.
"Let's be on our way, I want too see Timmy before the game." Dapo said walking up behind me.
That was how we both headed to the stadium located down the street from our house.
We arrived at the stadium to see the place littered with students from school and strangers who just want to see the game.
I could see both teams getting ready for the game as they hurdled together setting their formation and tactics.
"Let's go." Dapo said heading towards the ss1 students dressed in all black shirt and short.
"Ahhann. Who I'm I looking at?" Someone said seeing me approaching.
"Omobaba." He uttered looking surprised almost blushing at this point.
"AZ....." I yelled hugging him with joy. I've really missed my friends I have too admit.
Azeez Adebayo popularly know as AZ is amongst the few friends I have around. He's also very handsome but not like Timmy.
Let's just say he's handsome while Timmy is cute like a puppy.
"What is this?" He teased with hands on my waist which made me laugh.
"Kilo mean. Look at you." I replied laughing. I could see Timmy and Dapo approaching.
"Timmy." I yelled jumping into his arms, he felt fuller when our bodies touched. Someone has been working out.
"Look at you." I said checking him out.
He really has changed. He was taller than I remember and his face had matured a bit already sprouting a few strands of beards under his chin.
"Don't talk like I'm the one looking like Kim kardashian. Look at you." He fought back which made me blush.
"Maybe well talk later." He pulled me in close whispering into my ear. The ref had blown the whistle for the players too assemble.
"Alright and good luck." I whispered back at him.
"AZ good luck." I said embrassing him yet again before letting him go.
(Come on boys) Someone yelled for morale.
"Let's seat here." Dapo suggested picking out free seats at the top side of the spectators area.
A lot of spectators were seated anticipating this long awaited rivalry. The results of everyone's speculations would be answered on this day.
Who would come out on top?
"I want too see the entire action." He said taking his seat.
Dapo's pov.
What a great day for football. The sun was already setting which meant the atmosphere was cooler, great conditions for any game in my book.
The SS2 students were arranged in a 4-4-2 formation while the SS1 students went with the 4-2-3-1 formation with AZ and Timmy playing alongside each other in midfield.
Which meant trouble for the opposition.
The ref blew the whistle to kick off the game with the SS2 students passing the ball around.
It didn't take long for the ss1 student to all for business as Timmy's long ball to the winger in a lot of room was saved by the goal keeper.
The crowd cheerd loudly in support of the teams. Great save I have too admit.
Even though the SS1 students enjoyed a great deal of possession, it was the SS2 students with the first goal.
Emperor reacted quickly to an initial save made by the keeper to hand them a 1-0 lead. Talk about a man with instincts.
The frustrations began to plie up as Timmy saw his long range shot which beat the keeper come back off the cross bar and AZ's header coming off the cross bar as well.
And that was the first half as the ref blew his whistle.
"What is she doing here?" I said spotting her amidst the crowd, she seemed to be taking note.
Then it hit me. That's Coach Racheal, she's in charge of selecting students to represent the school for the upcoming inter-school cup.
That woman helped Coach Femi train us last session and it wasn't a pleasant experience, you'd be running laps for two month straight before she'll let you kick a football.
Talk about hard work and commitment. Honestly I felt like giving up.
Ifedayo's pov
"I hope we win." Feeling nervous about the game shaking in my seat mixed emotions filled my body, we were a goal down.
Not really a sports fan but my friends were playing so I had too support them.
"Don't worry you guys will win." Dapo replied.
"Are you sure?" I said staring at him so full of confidence.
"Of course. Just trust me and Timmy." He smiled.
I sat there and my eyes began to wonder about, staring at people down below laughing and conversing about God knows what when I saw her.
Kayinsola.
