Monday
Kayinsola's pov
The Burna boy's Ye echoed in my room from a blue tooth speaker placed on my table.
The smell of lavender filled the air in my room, I had the place painted pink and had lots of stuffed animals on the bed.
I had too wake up extra early too get ready for the first day of school. I was now a senior student so that's a really big deal.
Everything has to be perfect, from my hair to my uniform even down to my panties. I really couldn't afford to slip up today.
I had placed my neatly folded uniform on my bed already imagining how it would fit as I stared at it.
Just glad that he finally agreed to seat with me this session since we were going to be in the same class.
Call me crazy but I dream about that boy every night. I dream about kissing him. I dream about him rough handling my body.
And it feels good each time I go to bed thinking about him.
"Time too go get ready." I said cautious walking into the bathroom.
I arrived at school late like always because it was the first day of school and no one could really inconvenience me.
I basically kinda ran the school. The prefects were in charge of apprehending the late comers and I kinda controlled them.
One of the pros of being beautiful.
Just another day in the life of Kayinsola. Eyes always on me whenever I walk by and I don't blame them. When you're blessed with body such as mine, you learn to handle all the attention and praise.
"Kayinsola.....Where your mind dey?" Someone said shaking my body.
"Ahh... Emperor. What's up?" I said turning around to see him.
"Sorry I no hear you." I added sensing he had been trying to get my attention for a while.
"So what's up?" He said.
"Nothing much jare." We were heading to class. Students were littered around conversing.
"So how far you and Timmy?" He inquired. He is my very close paddy so he knew how things were going.
"Well, I ask if we fit sit together he say no wahala." I smiled uttering those words.
"Sha take am easy. Timmy no get stress." He adviced before letting me go.
I saw Timmy already seated at the rear so I hastened my steps immediately I walked into class.
"Good morning" I said taking my seat.
"Morning. I hope you're ok with the distance. Hope its not too far away from the board?" He inquired.
"Its perfect." I replied but before I could engage him in a conversation he left.
Toyosi's pov.
"This bra thing isn't really as comfortable. Yemisi was lying. Who knew developing breast was filled with a lot of discomfort?" I nagged adjusting it for the hundredth time this morning on my way to class.
"You there." I heard someone call.
"That girl." The person called again but really whosoever it was couldn't be referring to me so I continued walking.
Then I felt someone touch my elbow.
"This should be interesting."
I turned around to see an ss1 boy standing there, he was slightly taller than me.
"Didn't you hear I was calling you?" He spat almost getting annoyed.
"And who might you be?" I uttered looking uninterested as I glanced at him from head to toe.
"Is that what I asked you? All you girls are now feeling yourselves because you're no longer a junior student." He went on spewing trash if you ask me.
"So your point exactly?" I inquired not really sensing the point of our conversation and this discomfort I was feeling was new.
"Is there something wrong with you?" His voice changed as he spoke.
"Toyosi. Why are you still talking to this guy? Why?" I uttered shaking my head. I made sure he heard me. He was pissed.
Then he raised his hand to hit me and I covered my face in anticipation.
"Guy no try am." Someone said. I took a little peak when I realized the slap didn't connect.
It was Timmy. So glad to see him. What I'm I saying? I'm really really really glad to see him.
Dapo you have suffer. (Devil horns)
Not because he saved me just now, its because of the kiss I bragged to him about.
"Guy dey go if not I go vex for you. Why you go wan slap girl?" Timmy said still clutching his wrist. He finally sighed before leaving.
"Are you ok?" He said. Of course I am but I'm gonna have to capitalize on this.
Why? Because seeing Dapo breakdown mentally felt satisfying in a way.
This is the first time we're actually speaking to each other even when he came to see Jane, I just stare at them like just kiss already.
"Thank you for saving me." I said embrassing him.
Don't judge me, I'd do anything to upset Dapo. How could he call me salty?
"You're Toyosi right?" He said.
"Yes." I replied still holding the embrace. He smelt really good I have to admit.
"Let me see you off to class." He said.
"Okay." I replied finally releasing my embrace. We had a slight conversation before I arrived at my class.
"Thank you." I said embrassing him, I made sure Dapo was watching.
"Alright take care." He replied walking away.
Dapo's pov
What I'm I seeing? Toyosi being all lovey dovey with Timmy or I'm trapped in a really bad dream.
I made sure she was seated before approaching.
"What was that all about?" I inquired sitting beside her.
"I don't understand."
"You liar. You're trying to kiss him aren't you?"
"I can't say I'm not trying to kiss him."
"No. No. No." I shook my head in disapproval.
"You have to put and end to this." I added which made her laugh.
"Don't tell me you're worried about me? I'm fine thanks for caring." She replied sarcastically before hugging me.
"Who cares about you? Stay away for Timmy." I replied taking her hands off me before walking away.
"You said I tasted Salty." She said stopping me in my tracks.
"Ok you're sweet." I said.
"Awnnn..... But I can't stop now."
"I don't understand?"
"He's coming over to check up on me later."
"Why? What is wrong with you?" I said squinting my eyes staring at her.
"I'm a Damsel in distress." She said dramatically.
"No you're not. You're a Damsel with mental issues. Toyosi you're a narcissist." I teased and there goes her signature gaze.
Its really hard to get a sense of her emotional state but when she squints her eyes at you, you should be worried.
"I'm sorry okay. Just leave him alone. Please." I said grabbing her hand. She was really enjoying this, I could tell.
"I'll sleep over it don't worry." She assured patting my back.
"Thank you....."
I really couldn't have her getting involved with Timmy, the thought of it makes me sick.
Ifedayo's pov
I was having a conversation with AZ in class when I felt a warm hug from behind.
"You this boy." I had recognized the individual. It was Timmy.
"What's up baba?" They both shook hands.
"How far? Coach Racheal say make we see her." AZ said.
"Who be us?" He replied.
"All the boys way ball on saturday." AZ replied.
"Okay.. I fit go I never sabi." He replied.
"Them no born you well make you follow us. You wan run abi?" AZ teased before walking away too give us some privacy.
That's why I respected him so much, he was always on top of situations.
"So what's up?" He said pinching my cheek a bit.
"You know I told you I don't like it." I tried pinching he's but he played defender.
"How is your new seatmate?" I said.
"She's there jare." He nonchalantly replied.
"Kayinsola is a very pretty girl."
"I don't have her time jare. I came here too talk about Toyosi." He interrupted.
"What happened to her?" I replied feeling concerned.
"I just caught Samuel trying to hit her."
"Is she okay?" I interrupted
"Yes. I got there right in time." He said.
"That boy." I said gazing at him for a bit.
"Let's forget about him jare. So how was your holiday? Did you miss me while I was away?" He said. Hard as it was to admit, I really did.
"No I didn't."
"Liar." He replied laughing sheepishly.
"Okay fine I did." I replied.
"I missed you too so don't feel bad ehn..." He patted my back. Making me feel like a baby.
"Annoying boy." I pushed him a bit. He just laughed calling me weak.
"How about Olorunfemi?" I inquired.
"She's fine. She even wants to come visit but I don't really know jare." He replied.
Olorunfemi was one of his latest conquests and according to him, she's slender, dark and has freckles which made her stand out in a crowd.
He narrated how they both kissed at his uncle's wedding.
"Ok. She introduce me when its time." I uttered feeling tired so I placed my head on his back. He rested on the desk.
We both stayed there motionless, I could hear his strong but steady heart beat pound in my ear.
There was some activity in the class as some students started heading to the door.
"Timmy. Its time." AZ said walking over. He winked at me before walking away.
"I'll see you later." He whispered. "Alright." I replied.
